At the southern-most tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, Cabo San Lucas is a wonderland of vibrant wildlife both on land and in the sea. On land, keep an eye out for iguanas, hummingbirds, herons, desert falcons, ospreys, and, if you’re lucky, the elusive ring-tailed cat. Just under the waves lies an underwater oasis teeming with fish of all varieties, manta rays, sea turtles, dolphins, sea lions, and so much more. By far Cabo’s most majestic visitors are the playful grey and humpback whales who visit between the months of November through April and put on the most incredible and memorable show.
